Dried Parsley Leaves:

Deplantes’s dried parsley has been directly derived from the flat, bright, and deep green parsley leaves. Our dried parsley will retain the vibrant olive-green hue and aromatic qualities of the fresh parsley leaves even after dehydration. Our parsley flakes vibrant green colour enhances the visual appeal. Our dried parsley leaves will lend a strong taste and lively, herbaceous grassy flavour with notes of citrus and spice to all snack products without using preservatives, excessive salt, fat, or MSG. Our Dried parsley will enhance seasonings, while an underlying hint of bitterness provides balance. Though potent, Deplantes’s dried parsley seasons subtly and synergistically, imparting robust yet discreet flavours with staying power. Its flavour and long shelf life at room temperature make dry parsley leaves very convenient for instant seasoning use. 

Manufacturing Process:

Fresh flat parsley leaves will be procured initially. These leaves are first thoroughly washed with water to remove any dirt or debris and ensure safety and quality. Next, the parsley undergoes dehydration (Machine-dried/air-dried techniques) to remove moisture. Once sufficiently dried, the dry parsley leaves are resized into flakes or ground into a fine powder depending on the intended end application. Lastly, the dry parsley goes through rigorous quality testing before being packaged. For customisation, the parsley flakes will be passed into the pulverizer machine for resizing and moved to a vibro sifter machine to achieve a uniform-sized particle.

Applications:

Dried parsley leaves can be easily incorporated into snack products for toppings and seasonings. It provides a natural and authentic way to infuse Italian flavours without using artificial ingredients. The intense flavor and color of dry parsley make it a perfect seasoning for potato chip products bringing cream and onion flavour. Just a small amount of dry parsley can infuse robust Italian flavours without overpowering other ingredients.  Its vivid green colour and herbaceous notes lend authentic Italian flavours. The intense herbal notes of dried parsley flakes are especially suited for seasoning cheeses. Some flavoured cheese varieties add dried herbs like dried parsley, dried oregano and dried chives to infuse layers of complexity.
